Barack Obama in a townhall forum on BookTV from Cspan interviewed by NYTimes op-ed columnist Bob Herbert.

Talks about his new book The Audacity of Hope. A piece on Reclaiming the American Dream. The most sustained reflections on his political views I've seen.

The best thing that is constantly said about Barack--Herbert mentions it as well--is that he sincerely listens to all sides in a conversation and works to take their point of view into deliberations. Obama freely admits he has his own viewpoint, but he is a very humble and thoughtful man. The electorate may be seeking more of a uniter and reflective personality after the decider.
