A little too late I've discovered a way to make expandable post summaries in Blogger without having to add the Read More Label into my style template as Blogger suggested.

Preferred method here. This way I can create a read more link if I want for longer posts and if I just post as is, no "Read More" linking you to nothing below the post.

Unfortunately what that means in the short term is that by erasing the read more from my template all the other posts on a read more basis have lost their cue to being a longer post.

I'll be in the process of going back through and correcting a number--at least within the past month or two. Beyond that I don't know if I'll bother. We'll see.
