He has a view with which I agree on the unilateral withdraw from the Gaza. 1. It was right. 2. The response to the firing of the Qassam rockets after the withdrawal was not properly responded to thereby losing strategic deterrence value.

I disagree with some of his views on the West Bank settlement/occupation and questions of East Jerusalem. Still he is a very astute scholar (see his book on the US's history in the Middle East) and is definitely worth a listen to.
