Mugabe back in the saddle

Robert Mugabe, strongman dictator of Zimbabwe has regained his edge after a momentary wobble.

The ones to blame for the his ZANU-PF party nominating Mugabe yet again in 2008 (he's pushing 80) are the West and more importantly South Africa. The Zanu-PF would only have given up Mugabe if South Africa in the lead along with other sub-Sah. African nations had totally isolated Zimbabwe.

That means Thabo Mbeki adds to his list of stellar accomplishments--along with his conspiracy theory that HIV does not cause AIDS--the destruction of Zimbabwe.
