Brief Quick Update

Looks like Israel will halt the ground offensive and abide by the just passed UN Resolution. This is good news and opens up the possibility of a mandated controlled zone (with Lebanese help) in the south. Will have to be a fairly long term committment with a robust force. Looks like the Israelis used the ground threat as a ploy to put pressure on the faltering talks.
